Dex Cakes & Events — Delivery Policy

 

We offer local delivery within Cape Town to ensure your cake arrives safely and in perfect condition.


Delivery Options & Fees

 

  • Standard delivery: R200 for locations within 15km of our studio.
  • Beyond 15km: Additional charges apply based on distance.


 

Important Notes

 

  • All deliveries are handled personally by Dex Cakes & Events — we do not use Uber or third-party couriers.

  • Tiered and large cakes include a setup fee for on-site arrangement —ensuring your cake looks perfect and stays secure during delivery. (This is optional) 

  • Our driver will wait 10 minutes at the designated address. If no one is available to receive the cake, delivery must be rescheduled at the client’s cost, or the cake may be collected by the client.
  • Please ensure a safe and accessible delivery location. Cakes must be received and placed on a sturdy table in a cool environment (≤23°C)
